Butternut Squash Puree(6 months)

This big winter squash vegetable is grown mostly everywhere.Its loaded with rich source of dietary fiber and phyto-nutrients and vitamin A.It helps your baby to maintain proper eye vision.It helps to regulate cholestrol level in body.It Prevents your baby skin.yellow Pumpkin and white pumpkin can also be prepared in this same way .your little one loves that too.Since its rich in fiber.helps your baby to digest it easily


Butternut Squash


1.Peel off the outer hard skin of Butternut Squash using a peeler

2.Dice into small pieces

3.In a pan cover Butternut Squash pieces with water and boil for 10-15 minutes

4.Once Butternut Squash is turned out soft flesh.

5.Cool down to room temperature

6.Using a blender make it puree

7.Mix it with breast milk or Formula milk

8.Serve it to your baby using baby bowl and spoon


While introducing a new vegetable for the first time, always wait three days before switching to the next vegetable.If it suits well for your baby then move to next vegetable
