Potato Mash(6 months)

Starchy Potatoes are the best root vegetable which everyone loves to eat.Its loaded with essesntial nutrients such as vitamin B6,copper,Potassium,Vitamin C and fiber.Maintains baby blood pressure level.Helps to meet the body development nutrients.Helps to prevent heart disease.




1.Peel off the skin of Potato using a peeler

2.Never cut potatoes into small pieces as its nutrients are getting lost while boiling.always put whole potatoes for babies

3.In a pan cover Potato,small piece of garlic with water and boil for 10-15 minutes.Add a pinch of salt to it

4.Once Potato is turned out soft and cooked well.

5.Cool down to room temperature

6.Using a blender make Potato puree.leave garlic as a residue.

7.The main reason to add garlic is that it helps to prevent gas problem with your baby

8.Mix it with breast milk or Formula milk

9.Serve it to your baby using baby bowl and spoon


While introducing a new vegetable for the first time, always wait three days before switching to the next vegetable.If it suits well for your baby then move to next vegetable
